Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long can you keep my negatives?

Your negatives wil be held for up to 6 months. After they're not claimed, they will be recycled.

  • Can my negatives be send back?

There is the option to add the 'mail back' service to your order. This can be added when filling in the film developing form.

  • How will I receive my scans?

You will receive an email with a Wetransfer link.

  • How long will it take to receive my scans?

It depends on when they arrive at the lab & how many rolls there are. It’s safe to say that when I get your rolls they’ll be done in 1 week.

  • Can I push/pull film with your lab?

There is a push fee per roll (€1) but I don’t recommend pulling film.

  • I have a personal look for my photos, can I get that with your lab?

I would suggest to explain your likings in the 'special request' section in the film developing form. But you can always mail of give me a call and say hi!

  • If I get a blank roll, will I get my money back?

You will be notified if your roll came out blank. Unfortunately I can't do any refunds. But I suggest we will have a look at your camera together and make sure it doesn't happen again.

  • What film types does your lab proces?

    I develop & scan 35mm, 120, 220, 110 and APS-film in B&W, E-6, and of course C-41 (Color).

  • Can I rush my order?

Unfortunately I cannot offer this service at the moment.

  • Do you offer TIFF. Files?

I would suggest you let me know in the 'special request' section in the film developing form. But 99% of the time TIFF. files are overkill. The scanners I use are old technology and there is really no big difference between TIFF. and JPEG. scans. So I wouldn't recommend it if you adore the space on your hard drive.

  • Do you scan panoramic 35mm photos?

Yes no problemo! So if you like shooting your Hasselblad Xpan or Fuji TX-1. I got you covered.

  • Can my photos be printed?

They can be printed on 10x15cm photo paper.

  • How large are the scans?

At the moment we only scan on the highest resolution:

35mm film scanned on Noritsu: approx 3000 x 2000 px.
35mm film scanned on Frontier: approx 5400 x 3600 px.
    120 film (6x6) scanned on Frontier: approx 3600 x 3600 px.
